This charming Labrador goes by the name of Beaux. Despite having a sunken cranium or what some might call a "squished face," he exudes irresistible charm. His facial deformity made his early years quite challenging, until a compassionate human, who would become his mom, discovered him and offered him a loving family. Beaux's journey towards a happy life has only just begun.
Although Beaux's imperfection does not hinder his abilities in any way, potential buyers were unwilling to purchase him from the breeders. Ultimately, the poor pup ended up being given away for free. Unfortunately, this act did not lead to a better life for the pup. Instead, he was abandoned on two separate occasions.
Beaux endured neglect and was left alone in the backyard, tethered by the couple who had adopted him. They showed little regard for the dog's well-being, despite his battle with fleas. Eventually, when the couple made the decision to move, they sought another home for Beaux. It was during this time that Jamie noticed the plight of this imperfect dog. She was appalled by Beaux's circumstances. He suffered from malnutrition, weighing a mere 42 pounds (19 kgs), and was afflicted with worms. Without hesitation, Jamie brought him into her home, offering him the first taste of genuine love in his life.
Jamie promptly took Beaux to the veterinarian for thorough checkups and necessary treatments. Although progress was gradual, Beaux persevered and is now happier than ever. He is finally receiving the love and care he deserves.
Beaux and Jamie have become inseparable. The dog now has a 15-year-old brother named Riley, and they have formed a perfect bond. Whether it's sleeping, playing, or going for walks, they cherish every moment spent together.
