A few months later, tragedy struck when Myers experienced a stroke, rendering him immobile and unable to reach his phone. In that critical moment, Sadie sprang into action. She showered Myers with affectionate licks, barked for assistance, and utilized her strength to pull him closer to his phone.

Thanks to Sadie's quick-wittedness, Myers managed to alert authorities and receive the necessary medical aid. The medical professionals acknowledged Sadie as the hero responsible for saving Myers' life.

Throughout Myers' hospitalization and rehabilitation, Sadie remained under the care of his family, and they stayed connected via FaceTime. When Myers was finally able to return home, the reunion between him and Sadie was filled with overwhelming emotions and pure joy. Myers firmly believes that adopting Sadie was the greatest decision he ever made.
